Three biochemical societies – the Lithuanian biochemical society, the Polish biochemical society and the Belarusian Society of Biochemists and Molecular Biologists invite you to participate in the 2nd Belarusian-Lithuanian-Polish Jędrzej Sniadecki Memorial Conference “Frontiers in Molecular Life Sciences“ (JSMC 2021), which will be held in the historical city Vilnius, Lithuania, from May 18 to May 20, 2021.

Vilnius University will host the conference. The whole active professional life of prof. Jędrzej Sniadecki was related to Vilnius University, where he worked as the first professor of medicine and chemistry and wrote his prominent scientific books on chemistry, biology and medicine. Jędrzej Sniadecki was the first head of Chemistry Department at Vilnius University (during 1797–1822). The JSMC 2021 will continue to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Sniadecki’s birth following the 1st Belarusian-Lithuanian-Polish Jędrzej Sniadecki Memorial Conference “Frontiers in Molecular Life Sciences“, which was organized in Grodno on November 8-9, 2018.

The JSMC 2021 will be organized in conjunction with the 13th International Conference on History of Chemistry (13th ICHC) which will be held in Vilnius (Lithuania), from the 18 to the 22 of May 2021.
